Before I Begin

Hello everyone and thanks for checking my page out. I am putting this page together so I can help people if they ever decide to come up this way. I have been in Alaska for many years. I feel this is probably the best place on earth. There are so many things to see and do but never enough time to do it. On this page I will point out some of the things that most tourist guides don't have in them. I will try to give you a local perspective. I plan on putting info here that can be used year round instead of just the summer or the "tourist season". Don't get me wrong, there are some fun and exciting things in all that stuff you have read, but there is so much more. This will be a work in progress so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I currently live in the interior of Alaska, in a small town called North Pole, 17 miles south of Fairbanks. I have and still do travel all over this state. I love the outdoors and I am an avid hunter and fisherman. I do not like being inside and that has helped me find some of the best places to get away. I have done most of the things that all of the tourists come here for. I hope to help give a little insight to those who plan on comming up not only to visit but those planning to stay.
